The practice was appointed by SWRDA and Railtrack to prepare a feasibility study and masterplan, including concept design proposals for land between Temple Meads Station and the new Temple Quay development.
The study included proposals for a new transport interchange, a multi-storey car park and a hotel along with designs for significant BREEAM 'excellent' office developments that would sit comfortably within the setting of Brunel's grade I listed station. The exercise required extensive consultation with a wide range of stakeholders and resulted in a 120 page A3 document and alternative masterplans.
