Calne Town Centre

Aaron Evans Architects has been involved with the regeneration of Calne Town Centre since 1989 following the successful outcome of the national design competition. The first phase of the redevelopment of the Bank Site Housing was completed in 1995 for North Wiltshire District Council and Knightstone Housing Association. BURA Award winning Phase 2 was completed in April 2001 and opened by the Queen in December 2001. Built for North Wiltshire District Council this project involved the realignment of the River Marden. The practice also prepared proposals for Phase 3 which has since been developed out by Sainsburys.
