Royal High School, Bath Music School

We were appointed by the GDST to develop proposals for a new music school within an underused curtilage listed building on the main school campus.

The proposals provide a collection of new practice rooms together with teaching and recital spaces. To accommodate these spaces significant internal alterations to both layout and structure are required to remodel the building bringing with them complexities in the coordination of building services, noise and acoustic control.

Planning and listed building consents were granted in July 2018 and works were completed in January 2020
