Oldfield School - Learning Resource Centre

The practice was approached to consider how new additional library and resource space could be provided for the school above an existing dining area that could also also enhance the sense of arrival at the main entrance.

A new, innovative first floor extension was designed and constructed with minimal impact upon the retained ground floor accommodation. The practice worked closely with the school staff and governors to deliver this high quality accommodation within very tight budgetary and programme contraints.
