Riverside House

The proximity of the architects’ office to this development on the banks of the River Avon -  the practice looks directly down onto the site from the rear windows of its offices – meant that a very high degree of job supervision and close attention to detail was possible.

Technically the project had many challenging complications, involving constructing the building off the river wall and creating a basement which was below water level. The complex engineering involved was undertaken by Buro Happold.
