After successfully introducing industrial buildings into the heart of Bath, the practice had the opportunity to capitalise on the creation of contemporary architecture springing up on the Lower Bristol Road. A decision to create light industrial buildings in a "hi-tech" style with cladding on a steel frame was overtaken by the desire of the market to meet increasing demand for offices. This resulted in the demand for a more traditional look.
The courtyard development was built and let swiftly and has been occupied successfully by a series of small businesses setting up in Bath.
