Nadler Soho, Westminster

Selected as executive and monitoring Architect to complete the design and construction documentation for this new hotel designed by Robert Adam. Located within the Soho Conservation Area of Westminster the project was part new build and part conversion on a tightly confined L shaped site. Appointed after demolition had commenced we were able to mobilise a team quickly and met the demands of a tight design programme completing the construction documentation for the exterior and negotiating further client led design changes through the LPA while the project was under construction. AEA worked with the hotel interior designer to oversee the design development of all key interior elements, including reception and public areas, finishes, lighting, branding and signage. Construction work was completed in Spring 2013 and the hotel is trading successfully as a 4 star offer delivering 78 new bedrooms across a total floor area of approximately 3,800 sqm. Value £10m.
