The practice was appointed by Future Heritage and the PACE Trustees to provide detailed proposals for the conversion and restoration of a complex city centre site formed from the amalgamation and development of a number of properties over the past 200 years. Redeveloped in mid C19 as a piano factory elements of the building date as far back as the C16 including an extensive sub-basement area.

The development now houses retail, office, residential and restaurant spaces including flagship stores for Joules, Cutler & Gross and a Caribbean restaurant for Turtle Bay.
